Terms of Service

Comprehensive guidelines for using the Readingwala platform. Last updated: October 2026.

1

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Readingwala platform, including any associated mobile applications, APIs, or portals, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms in full, you must not use our services.

2

Service Description

Readingwala is a specialized CRM and management software designed for reading rooms, libraries, and study centers. Services include real-time seat mapping, automated billing, student ID generation, attendance tracking, and communication tools. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with appropriate notice.

3

Data Ownership & Privacy

You retain complete ownership of all data you input into the system, including your student records and financial data. We act solely as a data processor. We employ enterprise-grade encryption and strict access controls. We will never sell, lease, or distribute your or your students' data to third-party marketers.

4

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Readingwala strictly for managing your educational facility. You must not: (a) use the communication tools to send unsolicited spam; (b) attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the platform's security; (c) upload malicious code or illegal content; or (d) share your administrative credentials with unauthorized third parties.

5

Subscription & Billing

Access to Readingwala requires an active subscription. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). All payments are non-refundable unless legally required. Failure to settle invoices within the grace period may result in a temporary suspension of tenant access until the account is settled.

6

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We strive for a 99.9% uptime availability of our core services. Scheduled maintenance will occur during off-peak hours with prior notification. In the rare event of unscheduled downtime, our engineering team will prioritize immediate restoration of services.

7

Limitation of Liability

Readingwala provides the software "as is". We are not liable for any physical incidents, disputes, or operational disruptions that occur within your physical reading room facility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any software-related claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8

Termination & Export

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, you will have a 30-day window to export your student and financial data in standard CSV formats. After this period, we may permanently delete your tenant database to comply with data minimization principles.
